Will Hurricane Chris Ride Into The History Books
So far during the 2006 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season we have seen very little activity compared to the five named storms already by this time last year and two were hurricanes the did millions of dollars worth of damage. The 2005 Atlantic Tropical Hurricane Season was one of epic proportions and biblical connotations.

Nearly a Week of 112-115 Degree Heat Hampers California
California saw its worst heat wave in 10-years killing some 126-130 people. The heat wave produced record temperatures of 112-115 degrees for nearly a week straight. Most of the deaths occurred with elderly folks and some are wondering if there may have been a way to save more of these people in the next heat wave? Is a new policy needed for heat waves to protect people and elderly?
