The Right of Iraq to Self-Determination - Part 3
It was the right that underpinned the legitimacy and success of the American War of Independence, but it was the first democratic right to be trampled underfoot during the invasion of Iraq - that is the inalienable right of nations to self-determination. Now the US is supporting sectarian federalism. Can it work or is Confederation of Independent States needed?

What Should We Do to Better Our Nation; What Would You Do?
The other day we got into a huge discussion, debate, argument and brainstorming session at the Online Think Tank. Yes, it truly was all those things, a lot of passion, conviction and energy; brain power if you will trying to answer the questions; What Should We Do to Better Our Nation; What Would You Do?

Modern Liberals Claim That They Are Brighter People?
We all know that academia leans more towards the modern liberal skew than the rest of society in the United States. The Democrats best suited for this are former Vice-President Al Gore and New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. This would be the Democrats' strongest ticket and give them their best chance for victory in 2008

China's Less Than Transparent Military Build Up
Asking the Chinese to be transparent about their military agenda is a bit like casually asking Darth Vader to be transparent about the Empire's new and improved Death Star plans. It ain't going to happen.

In Response To Accusations Of Political Partisanship
Often times people are pigeon-holed into a category of political thought based on certain opinions they may hold about certain issues. Regardless of whether they themselves consider themselves politically affiliated or not, or even if they hold opinions which differ from the body-politic into which they have been categorized, these accusations or labels stick. When they do so they stigmatize the individual and do great harm to the ability of peoples to engage in speech free from rhetoric and cliche and narrow the ability of society to progress through the dissemination and advancement of ideas.

The History Of The Electoral College
The Electoral College was created by the Founding Fathers to select the President of the United States. The idea behind it was to select a President that was knowledgeable and informed and would better serve the country than one elected by a straight popular vote.

Don't Count Out Conservatives
While Giuliani seems to be making a splash, it would behoove conservatives to remember that the former mayor of New York is not one of them.
