A Nation of Law, Unless It's Inconvenient

This is a faith-based government, or so it claims. Its faith, up to the present moment, has been erringly in favor of an unfettered (some would say uncontrollable) presidency, wrapped in an unusual and unreferenced claim to legitimacy. That claim bases itself on the principle of presidential war powers and has, until now, intimidated any questions concerning its legitimacy with the fear of another terrorist attack.

Congress Bravely Salutes the Flag of Expedience

They have made it a federal crime to take a pregnant minor to another state to obtain an abortion without her parents' knowledge. Is there no way to get these nitwits out of our hair, rap their knuckles with a ruler and demand they do useful work?

Privatizing the Public Pocket

In the enthusiasm of the early days, Donald Rumsfeld decided privatizing would enable a war without a draft (and save a gazillion as well). He sub-contracted out the war in Afghanistan to the Reserves. That worked so well, in the eyes of The Beholder, that he sold The Decider on subbing out the whole Iraq operation to the Reserves, Halliburton and Blackwater .

Castro Consigns Cuban Concerns to Raul to Re-run Revolutionary Responsibilities

Fidel Castro is having surgery and getting up in years and has assigned Cuban concerns to his Brother Raul for now. Fidel Castro is 80 some years old now and has been in charge of Cuba since the revolution in 1959. Fidel Castro announced this passing of torch at least temporarily in Havana recently. But is this temporary or an end of an Era?

Hezbollah International Terrorist Group Weaponry

Many have not considered the size of the Hezbollah International Terrorist Group and the amount of weaponry that they posses. Hezbollah started this conflict with Israel with 15,000 rockets, most is Iranian Technology, but some are Chinese Technology, radar guided.

10 Most Deadly International Terrorist Groups Have Operational Bases in Syria

Syria is often considered a breeding ground for Arab International Terrorist Organizations. In fact the 10 most deadly International Terrorist Organizations have bases in Syria and yet Syria does not deny this, as it states that it wants to be involved in the Peace Process between Israel and Hezbollah due the currently fighting and mini-war in Lebanon.

How to Put Out Any Forest Fire in 6 Hours [and Why No Government Body Will Use It]

ANY forest fire can be put out in 6 hours or less; no matter where. THE US forest service and state and county and city fire fighting departments are NOT concerned with putting out any fires but in having so many fire fighting employees. Sad. End results are not the objective, head counts are!

We Are With the Government and We are Here to Help You

Well isn’t that special indeed, but who invited you and what makes you think I need or want your help. You see, the government does not do anything very well and I, well I do everything I do very well. And therefore I do not want your help and I certainly do not trust you to help others using my money?

Why Hillary Clinton's not moving into the White House in 2009 - or Ever

We don’t know who will take the oath of office as President of the United States on Jan. 20, 2009, but it will not be Hillary Clinton.

Letter Concerning Israeli and Lebanese Crisis to Cambodian Minister of Foreign Affairs

I am writing you in relation to the events in Lebanon. Today and luckily for humanity the world is increasingly connected and forming a global village. So, despite biased media reports for the benefit of Israel, we as citizens of the world have a clear idea of what is happening in that part of the world and Cambodia.

Will Syria Join Hezbollah Against the Jews?

Syria with an army of 225,000 has volunteered to join with Hezbollah to fight the Jewish state of Israel. Although this is only a threat right now it appears to be geared towards getting Israel to sign off on the United Nations cease-fire call to action and resolution. If Syria joins Hezbollah in the fight that you can probably expect that the Lebanese army will go all in.

Syria Working Very Hard to Re-Arm Hezbollah

Syria is working very hard to re-arm Hezbollah even since the Israelis have bombed the Beirut International Airport to prevent air-cargo planes from unloading more rockets and weapons. The Israelis have taken out all the major highways and bridges that go from Syria to Beirut and yet Syria continues to rearm Hezbollah with weapons.

Bush And Blair Want To Restart Global Trade Meeting

During the aftermath of the global trade negotiation, the European Union (EU) and the US were throwing counter charges over who to accuse about the meeting's failure.

Top 7 Questions for State Attorneys Generals Protecting the Consumer from Fraud?

There is a big debate out there as whether the States Attorneys Generals actually help consumers and investors from fraud. If a company makes an error in a disclosure document, form or filing, is it automatically fraud? Or simply a mistake in a sea of over regulation and impossible stipulations that we know are stifling free-enterprise.

Stop Driving and Start Drinking

We can put up with all the crap in this world because we are used to it. What we can’t put up with is the exorbitant cost of gasoline. It’s driving us to drink!
